I. General Provisions

  1. The privacy policy informs about how personal data of Users is collected, processed, and stored, necessary for providing services electronically via the website www.laserpoint.pl (hereinafter: the Website).
  2. The Website collects personal data necessary for implementing and developing the services offered on it.
  3. Personal data collected via the Website is processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR) and the Polish Data Protection Act of 10 May 2018.

III. Purpose of Collecting Personal Data

  1. Personal data is used for the purpose of:
    • registering an account and verifying the User’s identity,
    • enabling login to the Website,
    • providing services and fulfilling orders,
    • communication with the User (chatbot, contact form, etc.),
    • sending newsletters (after the User consents to receive them),
    • managing the comment system,
    • providing social services,
    • promoting the Controller’s offers,
    • marketing,
    • remarketing,
    • personalizing the Website for Users,
    • analytical and statistical activities,
    • debt collection,
    • establishing and pursuing claims or defending against them.
  2. Providing data is voluntary but necessary for concluding a contract or using other functionalities of the Website.

 

IV. Types of Processed Personal Data

The Controller may process the User’s personal data: first name and last name, date of birth, residential address, business address, email address, phone number, VAT number, company name, location of serviced equipment.

 

V. Duration of Personal Data Processing

Users’ personal data will be processed for a period of:

  • when the basis for processing the data is the performance of a contract – until the statute of limitations for claims after its performance,
  • when the basis for processing the data is consent – until its withdrawal, and after withdrawal of consent until the statute of limitations for claims.

In both cases, the limitation period is 6 years, and for periodic benefits claims and claims related to business activities – 3 years (unless a specific provision states otherwise).

 

VI. Sharing Personal Data

  1. Users’ personal data will be transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
  2. Users’ personal data may be transferred to: entities associated with the Controller, its subcontractors, entities cooperating with the Controller, e.g., companies providing advertising, accounting, courier/postal services, law firms.

 

VII. Users’ Rights

  1. A User of the Website has the right to: access their personal data, rectify it, delete it, restrict its processing, transfer it, object to its processing, withdraw consent at any time (which does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal).
  2. A request to exercise a right arising from the above should be sent to rodo@laserpoint.pl.
  3. The Controller fulfills or refuses to fulfill the request immediately – no later than within a month of its receipt.
  4. The User has the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office if they believe that the processing violates their rights and freedoms (GDPR).

 

VIII. Cookies

  1. The Website collects information via cookies – session, persistent, and third-party cookies.
  2. Collecting cookies supports the proper provision of services on the Website and serves statistical purposes.
  3. The User can define the scope of cookies’ access to their device in the browser settings.

  1. Users’ data cannot be processed in an automated way that could result in any decisions being made about them.
